Tax & Treasury Assistant Manager

PT Semen Andalas Indonesia a subsidiary of world leader in cement manufacturing and building material having its operation in Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau and Batam invites you to join our team to be based in Medan with some traveling as:

Tax & Treasury Assistant Manager (Code: TAM)

Reports to Tax & Treasury Manager, the candidate is responsible to:
a) Minimize of tax liability through good tax planning and management by identifying company specific tax issues and planning to ensure appropriate savings in tax.
b) Tax report must be submitted timely and of good quality.
c) Review and submit all statutory tax obligations, annual tax returns and tax computations within the required time limits and ensure that all tax queries and issues are dealt within a timely manner.
d)Promptly clear outstanding tax backlog and update tax record and solving disputes on all tax and duties (withholding tax, VAT, corporate tax, real property gains tax, stamps duties, customs duties, etc.) with various authorities.
e) Aim for zero tax penalty.
f) Analyze and report fund movement.
g) Monitor foreign exchange and negotiate with bank to get highest rate from time deposit.
h) Review bank reconciliation.
i) Examine payment process and accurateness of payment.
j) Confirm that payment authorization process procedure adherence to companys rules.
k) Cooperate internally (Purchasing and Marketing) and externally (supplier and distributor) regarding payment process.

General Requirements:
a) Must possess at least Bachelor degree from recognized university majoring in Accounting/Finance/Tax/Fiscal.
b) Having minimum 3 years working experiences in related field in multinational environment.
c) Hold a Certified Tax Consultant (Brevet A & B) is preferred.
d) Must be hands on in solving problem and avoid short cut and short-term solutions.
e) Must be strong in detail and number crunching.
f) Possess good knowledge of Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and Tax.
g) Knowledge/experience with Accounting/Financial software (SAP, JDE, PICKS).
h) English proficiency, computer literacy and can operate Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and Power Point).

Urgently Required in Cement Industry

Our client is a subsidiary of a world leader in a cement manufacturing and building material and having its operation in Aceh, Indonesia, currently are urgently looking for suitably qualified candidates (from Cement industries) to fill the following positions due to business expansion :

1. Operations Manager (OPM)
2. Electrical Execution Manager (EEM)
3. Methods Manager (MEM)
4. Production Mill Engineer - Superintendent (PME)
5. Production Pyro Engineer - Superintendent (PYE)
6. Process Engineer Pyro - Superintendent (PEP)
7. Mechanical Engineer Kiln - Superintendent (MEK)
8. Cement Mill Engineer - Superintendent (CME)
9. Electrical Planner - Superintendent (ELP)

Main Roles :
1. OPM to manage the Plants’ objectives with strategic action plan efficiently and effectively. Define the long term, improvement action plans for the whole plant. Settle daily problems and Organize relating to Production.
2. EEM to develop working methods, to define procedures in Electrical fields, and to coordinate of electrical execution implementation.
3. MEM to maintain and update the preventive maintenance program and its master plan (specially inspection and lubrication programs), ensuring quality and relevance as well as its implementation.
4. PME to monitor the milling equipment process performance and CCR to operate the plant at the optimum output and defined quality norms.
5. PYE to improve overall plant performance (pyro and raw mill) with required level of quality and quantity standard
6. PEP to address production process bottlenecks for a better output or a greater stability, define instructions concerning process key parameters, and to define production conditions for new or modified installations.
7. MEK to optimise maintenance operations, quality of maintenance works using best available methods and procedures in order to maximise equipment availability.
8. CME to develop inspection, operation and procedures on all electrical equipments, supervise execution of scheduled maintenance and conduct RCA and or adjustment to increase equipments reliability.
9. ELP to formalise and update; detailed job-plans for important electrical operations (technically and/or financially important), records & statistics, and technical documentation.

General Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor Degree from Engineering background (Electrical /Mechanical : for OPM; Electrical for EEM, CME & ELP; and Mechanical for MEM, MEK; Chemical for PME, PYE, PEP)
Having minimum 10 years experiences for : OPM, EEM, MEM, and 5 to 10 years experiences for PME, PYE, PEP, MEK, CME, ELP.
Good knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and its operation; raw mill preparations, grinding, burning and combustion process (all positions)
Good technical skills in each applied position, Safety awareness, Knowledge of production management, planning and operations (all positions)
Cement industries background is a must
English proficiency and Computer literacy are a must
