Major Heavy Industry Jobs in Malaysia

Major Heavy Industry Group of Companies in Malaysia seeking Indonesian shipbuilder professional to join their them for their Shipyards in Malaysia & Africa. Currently we are looking for the following positions:

ASSISTANT GENERAL OPERATION MANAGER-HEAD OF OPERATION / PMT
The Job:
- Resource pool and support centre for projects undertaken by the division.
- Manage, monitor and control all resources and proper assigning of available support to all projects undertaken by the division.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards or government agency activities that effect assigned projects.
- Responsible for project delivery within time frame and meet quality standard.

Requirements:
- Degree in Marine Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years related working experience in shipbuilding, oil & gas or heavy engineering.
- Possess leadership skill and able to provide guidance to the team leaders for the development projects assigned to the division.

SENIOR MANAGER – SHIPBUILDING
The Job:
- Strategize, plan and manage total project activities encompassing schedule, costing and quality.
- Oversee the maintenance of shipyard and equipment including security and protection.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationship within the division and the corporation and to maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Business Administration or the equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years related working experience in marine or oil & gas industry.
- Possess experience in the management of ship repair projects.

MANAGER- CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

The Job:
- Plan, coordinate, monitor and control all resources for project activities in accordance to production schedule.
- Resource pool and support centre for projects undertaken by the division.
- Monitor, supervise and control the manpower and resources and ensure project is delivered as scheduled.

Requirement:
- Degree in Marine Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years related working experience in shipbuilding or oil & gas industries.
- Able to lead and command a team of executives.
- Possess good problem solving skills and proactive.

MANAGER – INSPECTION, TEST & TRIAL SUPERINTENDENT
The Job:
- Plan, coordinate, monitor and control all resources for inspection, test and trial and commissioning activities in accordance to production schedule.
- Manage the test and trial for vessels prior to handover to clients.
- Ensure the required Factory Acceptance Test for major equipment is attended to and all inspections/verifications of all ship’s equipment are carried out accordingly.
- Ensure all procedures, overview, tools for testing and commissioning for the project are adequate and carried out promptly.

Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Marine Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years related working experience OR Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency would have an added advantage.
- Must be familiar with ship’s systems.
- Conversant in testing and commissioning of all ship’s equipment and system.

SENIOR TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE – PRODUCTION PLANNER
The Job:
- Prepare, coordinate and control the projects and administer, develop and monitor the material planning activities for the division.
- Review all the materials delivery and required-on-site in response to requirement of production plan.
- Update and monitor project progress and resource planning.
- Manage, supervise and monitor the project to ensure compliance to the production policies to support Company goal and objectives.

Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years related working experience in shipbuilding or oil & gas.
- Possess a sound knowledge in technical drawing.
- Well versed with Microsoft project or other planning tools.

TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE – HULL PRODUCTION QC
The Job:
- Assist head in ensuring the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System is implemented and maintained within mechanical workshop.
- Assist head in analyzing the causes of non-conformance and formulate possible corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct quality control surveillance on all hull fabrication works.
- Witness and endorse quality related inspection and examination report including conducting the quality control rounds and inspection as per scheduled on mechanical work and equipments.

Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years related working experience in shipbuilding or oil & gas industry.
- Able to read technical drawing.
- Well versed in various welding inspection tools and Non-Destructive Test requirements.

TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE – PRODUCTION PIPING ENGINEER
The Job:
- Manage, execute, monitor and control all mechanical activities/installation for the division.
- Prepare the procedures, overview, tools and test equipment for the testing and commissioning of all mechanical equipment for the project.
- Act as the piping engineer for the division at any assigned project/ship.

Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Marine Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years related working experience in marine or oil & gas.
- Possess knowledge about in mechanical and / or piping.

General requirements:
- Minimum Education: Polytechnic or Advance Diploma.
- Fluent in English Language
- Skilled in basic software tools
- Preferably experience in Naval or Paramilitary Shipyard
